I often get asked 'what does a personal organiser actually do?' so today I thought I would share a recent job I completed so you can see for yourself! Basically, I am passionate about helping others get organised in their homes. This blog gives lots of tips and ideas, but sometimes it can be too overwhelming to tackle a disorganised space yourself, no matter how much information you have about how to do it. That is where I can step in and help you set up a space that works for you [and your family], essentially helping you to 'take back your life'.
Craft and sewing room inspiration
A few months ago, a client asked me to help organise her sewing room. She had just moved into a new house, and needed help setting up the space. In order to come up with an exciting plan for moving forward, I researched some 'real' spaces, looking for rooms that were not only beautiful, but could also be achieved without spending a lot of money. Here's some of the amazing inspiration I came across for organised, top-functioning and beautiful craft and sewing spaces.
How to organise a storage cupboard
In today's video, I'm revealing how I organised our storage cupboard so that everything is accessible, easy to maintain, neat, and organised.

Our organised finance binder
The other day, I shared our household/family binder which I am really happy with, but my organisational goal was to create both a household and finance binder, so I'm pleased to now be checking that one off the list! My husband and I decided late last year that we needed a better system for managing our budget, and tracking our debt repayments and savings. I am in no way a financial expert, but thought I would share with you the new systems we are implementing that will hopefully help us take better control of our finances.
