7 sure-fire ways to get your pantry organised {Client Space}

Have you been thinking about getting your pantry more organised, but not sure where to start? Or do you feel like it's going to be a job that's just too big to undertake? For some of you, getting your pantry sorted won't be a massive undertaking if you've already got good systems in place for how to store and organise your food.

However, if the thought of tackling your pantry seems like a completely overwhelming and daunting job that you'll avoid at any costs, know that you're not alone! My most recent client space makeover was a butler's pantry that took 4 hours to get sorted. But the end result was more than worth the effort! Today I'm walking you through the process, and 7 sure-fire ways to get your own pantry organised. You've totally got this!

The easiest way to get out the door stress-free and on time!

The easiest way to get out the door stress-free and on time!

If you had to name the main clutter zones in your house, there are usually 2 main hot spots. The first is the kitchen bench or table, where paperwork, lunch boxes, keys, glasses, mail and random bits and pieces often get dumped. And the second common clutter-zone is the entryway. Whether you enter through the front door or through a side or back entrance, the entryway is often where shoes, bags, keys, coats and hats get thrown. If you don't have organised zones set up to 'catch the clutter', then it's easy for the mess to build up and become overwhelming.

Want exposed beams in your house? Here's how...

Is there a part of your home that is a real feature, and has that 'wow factor'? Be it an interesting layout, a unique piece of furniture, a striking paint colour or even an unusual print, having a stand-out feature can become a talking point and something that makes your home unique. With our newly renovated house, that wow feature is most definitely the exposed beams on our pitched ceiling. Today I'm showing you the whole process of how we exposed the beams. It certainly was not without moments of tears and frustration, but the amazing transformation was more than worth it!

Our new master bedroom & ensuite reveal

This month is all about showing off the different spaces in our newly renovated house, which is super fun for me to do, and I hope you enjoy coming along for the ride too! It's been awesome for us to start seeing everything really come together around here.

We painted the entire house (both exterior and interior) ourselves, and are still going with the painting in quite a few different areas around the home. This teamed with other tasks we still have to complete, such as building a laundry, landscaping the garden and creating a new command centre, has really made this whole project feel like a massive labour of love! But it's also something that we're both incredibly proud of, and I think it's great for our kids to see how much hard work we're putting in to create our dream home. Now that we're in, they get to help out too which is a lot more fun. So, thus far I've given you a sneak peek at our kitchen and the kids' finished bedrooms. Today I'm excited to be showing you our master bedroom and ensuite. Let's go!

How I set up 2 new bedrooms in just 3 days

How I set up 2 new bedrooms in just 3 days

When we moved into our newly renovated house, after 7 months living with my parents while the build was in progress, one of the first areas I wanted to get organised and ready were the kids' bedrooms. I knew that moving was enough of an upheaval and uncertain time for them, so I really wanted them to feel settled and happy in our new home from the get-go. Today I'm sharing how I set up both their bedrooms - decluttered, organised and decorated - over the course of 3 days...

A sneak peek at our new kitchen!

I'm just a little bit excited today to be giving you a sneak peek at our new kitchen! This video was actually filmed before we moved in, so it's a look at the bare bones of the kitchen layout... and yes, at this stage, there was still a fair bit of mess lying around, and dirty drawers. But I'm still super excited to show this great space off to you all today!
