5 tips for a stres-free morning

5 tips for a stres-free morning

Our year so far has been full of changes and new routines, and therefore more need to get ourselves organised! My husband started a new job a few weeks ago, my nearly-4 year old has started kinder this year, and I am working 1-2 days per week as well as working on the business and taking care of my 21- month old. Things are busy to say the least! We have had to make a few adjustments to our routines in order to make the mornings run smoothly, and so we can get out the door on time.

I don't know why, but I am really terrible at choosing cards. I stand for ages in the card section, looking for one that's not too cutesy or bad-humoured, that has the right colours and message, is appropriate for the person... there's too many factors! Maybe I'm over-thinking things? Totally goes with my personality :)

Without a doubt, our garage has always been the most disorganised space in our house. Luckily no-one ever goes in there except us, which I suppose is also where the problem starts. Garages can quickly and easily become a disorganised, cluttered mess. They are also the most unexciting space to organise, hence why I've put it off for so long. But I knew in the long run it would make things so much easier, especially because my husband enjoys building things, and I'm always getting him to do little jobs around the house.

On The Organised You TV this Saturday, I'll be showing the garage makeover. Today I thought I'd show you the dreadful 'before' shots and talk about why the space really wasn't working for us. If this looks like your garage, then hopefully you get some ideas from Saturday's video.
