Have you ever been through a renovation, or had to make loads of big decisions on how you want your house to look? It can be a pretty overwhelming process - exciting but also stressful, as these choices will ultimately determine the overall look and feel of your entire home.  We are nearing the home stretch of our renovation, and it feels like we have been making these huge decisions for months, but as we watch everything start coming together, I just can't wait to see what it will all look like in the end! Today I'm sharing all the decisions we have made for our new downstairs area, which includes the kitchen and living area. I'll be writing another post for our choices in the master bedroom, ensuite, walk-in robe and exterior areas, so stay tuned, and get ready for photo overload today!

Well friends, if you've been following along with this blog for a while, you would know that our renovation is finally underway, and we are well and truly out of planning stage and into the real thing. Still can't quite believe it's finally happening! It's been a pretty crazy, busy, stressful, but mostly exciting lead-up, and now we're finally on our way. Today I'm sharing our renovation plans so you can join me on this journey and see the changes as they happen over the next 4-6 months - excited to be able to share it with you all!

Client Space: Taking back the home office & storage spaces

My most recent client makeover was for a very dear friend, so it was a really great experience and one of my favourite makeovers! I love helping out all of my clients, but when they are friends it makes the process all the more enjoyable. Not only do we take the 'organising journey' together, I also get to hear about the positive impact and benefits of the newly organised space once the job's complete, which is the bit I love most about my job as a personal organiser!

Our daughter's bedroom makeover

Our daughter's bedroom makeover

I'm so excited to be sharing this makeover with you today! As I spoke about in the previous post, where I shared the 8 lessons we learned from doing this whole project, it was definitely a long time in the making, largely because of the construction work. We also had to try out quite a few combinations to get the furniture just right in this small space, but we're happy with the final result. Our baby girl loves her bedroom and plays in here a lot, so that's a win in my books. Hope you enjoy the new bedroom tour as much as we loved putting it all together!

8 lessons we learned from our daughter's bedroom makeover

My goodness, it has been a long road with our daughter's bedroom makeover! I feel like I have been sharing sneak peeks of this project on Instagram forever, but we are finally at the stage of calling it done, and I'm excited to share the whole makeover with you this week. Today is a look at the fairly epic road to a finished makeover, including a video of the construction phase, and the important lessons we learned during this massive project.
