Well friends, if you've been following along with this blog for a while, you would know that our renovation is finally underway, and we are well and truly out of planning stage and into the real thing. Still can't quite believe it's finally happening! It's been a pretty crazy, busy, stressful, but mostly exciting lead-up, and now we're finally on our way. Today I'm sharing our renovation plans so you can join me on this journey and see the changes as they happen over the next 4-6 months - excited to be able to share it with you all!
Our daughter's bedroom makeover
I'm so excited to be sharing this makeover with you today! As I spoke about in the previous post, where I shared the 8 lessons we learned from doing this whole project, it was definitely a long time in the making, largely because of the construction work. We also had to try out quite a few combinations to get the furniture just right in this small space, but we're happy with the final result. Our baby girl loves her bedroom and plays in here a lot, so that's a win in my books. Hope you enjoy the new bedroom tour as much as we loved putting it all together!
8 lessons we learned from our daughter's bedroom makeover
My goodness, it has been a long road with our daughter's bedroom makeover! I feel like I have been sharing sneak peeks of this project on Instagram forever, but we are finally at the stage of calling it done, and I'm excited to share the whole makeover with you this week. Today is a look at the fairly epic road to a finished makeover, including a video of the construction phase, and the important lessons we learned during this massive project.

How I created a cute artwork display
Have you ever taken on a room makeover that felt like it was never going to end? I've definitely been feeling that way about our daughter's bedroom, it feels like about a year ago that we first started renovating in here. We completed our last project in here over the weekend, so I think we can finally call the room done - yahoo! Today I wanted to share with you the cute little artwork display that we created, as a way to spruce up a bare wall and the perfect spot to hang our baby girl's latest masterpieces!
How to pack your child's lunch-box (and what to pack in it!)
As school and kinder resumes this week on this side of the globe, I've been trying to get my brain back into the zone of routine. Not so easy after 5 weeks of lazy mornings! To make the switch, I'll be back to following my checklist of preparing everything the night before for a less stressful morning. This week on the blog, I also shared my 'plan of attack' for how I'm going to put together healthy lunches for my kinder-aged son. I provided a list of ideas for kids' lunches and snacks (grab your free copy below), which I'm hoping will take the stress out of what to pack each day!
Today's episode of The Organised You TV shows you how I pack my child's lunchbox, the products I use, some tips for being more prepared in the mornings, and how I set up my kitchen in an organised way to make the whole process as painless as possible!
