I'm popping in today with a quick tip that saves money, uses up your existing produce, is a healthy alternative and, in my opinion, tastes a lot better! I'm talking about making your own breadcrumbs that can be stored for up to 6 months in the freezer.
A simple kitchen storage solution
Today I'm sharing an easy storage solution for the kitchen. I try to do a good kitchen clean-out and purge once a quarter - this involves removing everything from a drawer/cupboard, giving it a good wipe-down, finding new storage ideas if necessary, re-organising, and seeing if there's anything I can get rid of before I put everything back in. I find that kitchens can really accumulate a lot of 'stuff', so I like to do this on a fairly regular basis to minimize the clutter.
Using jars for lunch storage
Today I'm excited to be launching a new weekly series to the blog called 'Quick Tips'. These posts will include a simple tip or trick for things I use/do around my home that you may find useful, or may like to try in your own lives.
These tips will be related to any one of my favourite topics:
- organisation
- storage
- home improvement
- cleaning
- kids
- cooking and food
So, to start of the series, today's 'quick tip' is about lunch storage using mason jars.
